Beach Boys Reunion

Isn't it a bit too late to do this? They aren't Beach boys anymore, they're Beach Grandpa's.

I love the old music from the Beach Boys. The first song I learned on guitar was Barbara Ann and for years I've wished I could harmonize like they did, but as much as I loved the songs and all that, the news of this reunion disappointed me. Carl and Dennis are long gone, so it's not really the real Beach Boys anyway.

Having said that, I still feel strangely compelled to see the performance on the Grammys.

I was never a Beach Boys fan but, I fondly remember several 4ths of July on the Mall attending the free Beach Boys concerts. Then Reagan got elected and they brought in...wait for it...Wayne Newton. And sadly, I think the crowd was bigger for Wayne than for the Beach Boys. No MS-13 either back in those days. Good times, better days.

No, Dennis Wilson, an alcoholic, drowned in CA. He was on a hit list drawn up by Charles Manson. Manson hated him and Wanted him dead and skinned by his minnions.

I think it was the Beach Boys' record producer Terry Melcher. He was renting the house at 10050 Cielo Drive where the Mansons committed the Hollywood murders.

yeah cause Wilson started to hate Manson and was so scared of him he left his house and let Manson continue living for a while before he had the balls to kick him out.
