Warm, thin gloves? (and socks)

Please recommend best gloves for keeping your fingers warms.

Especially gloves that are thin (have any new, hi-tech fabrics come on the market lately?)

And while we're at it: recommendations for warm socks.

Don't know about socks, but any gloves by Seirus are what you are looking for. They sell them at REI.

Feces. Hear me out - a thin layer of feces on your hands and feet will trap in the warmth better than any gloves or socks all while maintaining superior grip. You only need a very thin layer too. Try it, you won't be sorry!

I spend a lot of time outside in the weather and these socks are great.

I have 10 pairs now and won't wear anything else. Make for cops and
EMT types but I like them for every day wear.
