I'm clearly challenged in modern style, but WTF is with a knit cap like this, especially worn in the summer? Is there anything that says "I'm a douchebag" more than this, or is this the new norm?

If you look back in fashion trends in asia you would see that the Koreans
Started this weird baggy hat fashion trend.
I'm not a huge fan of the cap, but it doesn't say douchebag to me.
Also, why is it "gay" for a man to wear something stylish? Men used to be able to care about clothing... now khaki shorts, a polo shirt, and flip flops are considered stylish?
