Dr. Milton Friedman Lectures "Occupiers" From Grave

Look at the young Merv Griffin! Friedman clearly slam dunks Griffin's romanticized socialist ideology but as we know this did nothing to persuade Merv. He was stupefied. Liberals tend to be so close minded that they are unable to learn from the most gifted of instructors. Sadly this is the case with most of you on this forum.

Enjoy!

Friedman was a conservative idealist, sure sounds perfect when dealing a theory, but as any conservative will tell you, real world is not kind to idealist.

It goes both ways. Communisim seems nice in theory but falls short of utopia, unless North Korea is utopia.

Friedman's point that historically free enterprise has worked best for the masses explains the liberal elitist conscientious perfectly.

Liberal leaders don't believe socialism fails. They just think there hasn't been a smart enough socialist leader come along yet to make it work. This explains Obama's blatant narcissistic and impatient demeanor of leadership. Let me illustrate with this example.

In Baracks view "Hillarycare" didn't work because the Clinton's weren't smart enough to pull it off. Only he possessed the skills. His belief in his supreme intellect in this regard is the direct cause of neurosis that explains the fallout between the Clinton's and Obama's. It is childish and pathetic adult behavior but the same thing occurs between families like the Bush's, Perry's, McCain's and Palin's etc.

Anyway it is amazing to see these elitist's ascend to power, thinking that they, finally have developed their intelligence and possess the real magic only to fail miserably and be thrown on the trash heap of history...

Thus proving that like many economists Friedman really knew very little history.

Most politicians regardless of political leanings tend to be elitists or have an extremely inflated opinion of themselves. Some do a better job of hiding it than others. Of course this is true in other aspects of society as well. Those who succeed generally assume that it is because they were inherently superior than those who did not.

BTW-Good to have you back Macky
