Barney Frank will not seek re-election - YES!

I am betting his polling numbers weren't looking too good as his name is constantly being associated with the mortgage loan fiasco. I can say with certainty I will be happy to not have to see his smug face after the next election.

I like how CNN reports;

"Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, a prominent 16-term liberal Democrat and arch-enemy of political conservatives nationwide".

It is not that he along with Christopher Dodd, who coincidentally is also bowing out in 2012, are the two perpetrators most responsible for the housing crisis which led an historical global economic meltdown which has cost us ALL (not just conservatives) dearly in treasure and wiped many out completely. 20% foreclosure rate, collapsing housing values, millions of jobs lost, 401Ks depleted, 30% of Americans on food stamps, job well done Barney!

Well dat dwas Deorge Buthes fawult! Deorge Buth Done dat! Deorge Buth and da Tea Potty!

They write a farce of a financial reform bill trying to cover their tracks then run like the cowards they are giving us all the bird. Full congressional retirement and pension benefits including full healthcare (remember congress is exempt from Obamacare) await them as the reward for their accomplishments.

They most likely will never be held legally accountable for their destructive actions in this lifetime. Look for Barney to completely crack up after retirement.

How was this blathering idiot ever voted into office the first place? The man wreeks of incompitance.

If the press was more honest, the man would have been run out of office when his little gay prositution ring was uncovered.

"His accusation that Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) knew that Gobie had operated a prostitution service out of Frank's Capitol Hill apartment became national news after it was first reported Friday by the Washington Times.

Frank, one of two openly gay members of Congress, confirmed Friday that he paid Gobie for sex, hired him with personal funds as an aide and wrote letters on congressional stationery on his behalf to Virginia probation officials, but Frank said he fired Gobie when he learned that clients were visiting the apartment."

From the article - today this would have had any Republican run out of office. For a liberal this is "par for the course".

...Frank, a leading House liberal, likened himself to Henry Higgins, who in "Pygmalion" tries to transform a cockney waif into a member of English society. Gobie dismissed that as "garbage." "This is not the case of the poor waif who is being sheltered," Gobie said. "This was the first time he felt good in a relationship. Here's a guy who didn't have a social life until he was 45." ...

What kind of social life did that shitbum Gobie introduce Frank to, a lot of perverted gay orgies and crazy gay sex under wraps. I'd rather stay home.

It's amazing that he graduated from Harvard University and Harvard Law and was the chairman of the House Financial Service Committee. However, he's done a wicked job of effing up the finances of the U.S. He played a good role in trying to get people who didn't own homes into mortgages that they couldn't afford, thus leading to a lot of foreclosures. When he retires, if he feels confident that his career was significant in developing a great future for America, then he is majorly brain dean.

Be gone !!

It was funny this afternoon on Rush when they played the clips when he announced that he wasn't running in 2012. I think he's frustrated with the Republicans - or, that's how he clearly stated his reasons for retiring.
