Charges against Cain Cannot Be Ignored

Read this article from a very, very conservative website:

“Wall Street is typically thought of as investment banking
and banking and we were not an investment bank or a bank.
But we were in the financial services sector generally,"
Romney said. "I am not a Wall Street guy, classically

Why is everyone worried about whether or not Cain, who was a high powered lobbyist at the time before being a part of the Fed in KC, grabbed some chick's ass in 1997. Anyone notice he doesn't know shit about China or any of the other countries he would have to deal with as POTUS?

What's the diff? Cain is unfit for the presidency in every regard. It doesn't matter who points that out. It's telling, though, that even the wingnuts are seeing through Cain's schtick.

The writer of that article is not particularly conservative. They have written 2 articles for the site - the first was a whiner, and the 2nd, this. While it is important to fully vet folks (which never happened with Obama - people were too busy cleaning their pants every time they talked about him), there is a point where you have to trust that someone of decent common sense, wisdom in how the world works, and the ability to direct and motivate people will do a good job.

Jimmy Carter was a great example - a peanut farmer from Georgia who went to the Naval Academy and eventually commanded a nuclear sub. Sound great, except there was never any reason to believe he had a fluent command of foreign policy, or even an inkling of whatever passes as domestic policy other than having served one term as governor of Georgia. His great passion was human rights, and evidently he was very good at nuclear physics. Some would argue he was a good candidate - but the evidence of his failures still haunts Democrats today - as does his frequent support for folks on the wrong side of the argument for American foreign policy. The main good thing he will be remembered for is Habitat for Humanity - I will give him credit for that. Otherwise he is a whack job.

Whether it ends up with Cain, or someone else for the Republicans - other than the media painting it so, none of the folks out there today are any worse or better than others we have seen in the past. But the media wants us all to believe that somehow these folks, with their issues good or bad, are somehow all that much worse than Obama. Obama just foisted a really good snow job on the American people, aided and abetted by the MSM - and honestly, his performance hasn't been so great that any of these folks contending today could do much worse.

Herman Cain Caught Trying To Get A Piece

Republican presidential primary candidate Herman Cain has been broadsided with accusations of, and covering up, sexual harassment.

The former pizza magnate has now had a fifth accuser come forward with allegations that she was sexually harassed on the pizza assembly line. Bonnie Calzones has released a statement through her attorney, Wan Callthatsall, accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment while he helped out an under staffed pizza shop.

"Mister Cain asked me to call him Hermie and fondled my buttocks and breasts while I attempted to roll out the dough. He then asked me if I would like to go back to his crib and play with and hide his pepperoni."

"I told him that he was making me uncomfortable and he told me that I should just take my clothes off so that I would feel better. He told me that he was dreaming of putting his pepperoni between my big calzones. That was the final straw. I threatened to cut his pepperoni into little pieces and put it on a pizza. He left me alone and started harassing the delivery-boy."

It is uncertain as to whether or not the Cain presidential pizza campaign will survive the brick oven of media scrutiny.

If the editors of the conservative website disagreed
with the opinion expressed, they would not publish the
piece. I don't know if you're familiar with AT, but
it's about as far from "fair & balanced" as one can get.

You may believe that, but it isn't true. Bachmann = Regan?
Perry = GHW Bush? Paul = Dole? 3/4 of the current GOP field
are so extreme, they make Barry Goldwater look like Nixon.

They have quite a large pool of writers - take a look down the side and you will see they have a large selection of writers associated with them, and not all of them are "conservative" to the exclusion of all else.

A lot of folks get elected on how they come across, versus their actual ability. Just look at Obama for the latest example of that phenomena - and how that can be taken to an absurd extreme.

You wouldn't have voted for him in the first place, so your argument has little relevance other than the usual kibitzing.

Other than their advocating for lower spending, I don't see that anyone other than Paul being more or less wacky than what we usually see from the Republicans or the Democrats.

It's funny that a conservative rag is coming out against Cain because he was involved in LBO's. What do they think Romney did for a living?

Again, the site is an aggregate for opinion pieces - mostly conservative. I doubt that this guy's piece is a view held by the majority of the writers there. His piece is probably what the establishment party elites want everyone to think - the ones backing Romney.

As mentioned somewhere up above, Cain is a nothing - he won't be nominated by The Imploding Party unless all the other candidates have fatal strokes (*). If something like that ACTUALLY happened, Obama would crush him in any and all debates - he is clueless (as mentioned in the article referenced above).

====

(*) I'd still like to know if Cain's cancer is still in remission, if he is currently undergoing chemotherapy, if he is then if it affects him in some negative manner, why he is tired (slowing campaigning) and anything else having to do with the fact that he had colon cancer that spread to his liver and not-yet-described "surgery" (**) as one part of the treatment for it.

(**) Did he have his entire colon removed? (probably) Is he a potential liver transplant patient? (possibly - ala Steve Jobs).

Shortly these allegations will become a non issue. The fact that they have come out now points to rival republican candidates as the possible source even though it is beneficial for Obama as a diversion from the state of the union he is in charge of. Other than that "anonymous sources" are cowardice campaign weapons and are seen as such, with due cause, by an overwhelming majority of the electorate .

Tempest in a teapot.

I'm not endorsing Cain and believe he has almost insurmountable obstacles between him and the White House chief among them having never been elected to a public office. He is a cool cat for sure and runs rings around other candidates in charisma and business knowledge.

I like the guy. Lots of people like the guy. He is a crossover candidate. Current polling numbers reflect his strength of personality. But as stated, his lack of service in Congress or the Statehouse makes him a nonstarter.

I don't think he will fade away into oblivion after the primaries. Look for him to to be courted for possible cabinet positions by whoever gets the Republican nomination in exchange for his endorsement. Duh I know , but KISS (keep it simple stupe).

I don't think he will pull off an Iowa shocker like Obama did and it will be downhill from there with sparks of hope from North and South Carolina.

He does command respect as a strong and bold conservative black man however and that is good to see.

One of the greatest, and most hilarious, stories ever told was recorded by special prosecutor Ken Star's staff.

In a bizarre daytime sex session, that occurred just off the Oval Office in the White House, WJC watched as intern ML reportedly masturbated with his cigar. One sex session reportedly took place as Yasser Arafat waited in the Rose Garden for his scheduled meeting with the president. According to multiple sources close to the case, WJC allegedly masturbated as ML performed the sex show with his cigar in a small room off the Oval Office. It is not clear if WJC or ML kept the cigar, or if ML testified on the specifics of the encounter before a federal grand jury this week. ML's testimony has been described as graphic, and included unusual practices.

Totally awesome. A terrorist waiting in the rose garden (Arafat) while Clinton is getting his crooked crank polished by the fat intern.

Someone in Hollywood needs to make a movie.

It took the media a year to catch up with the John Edwards Affair -
which they willfully ignored until that paragon of the fourth estate,
the National Enquirer, brought it the fore - but only weeks into
Herman Cain's narrow GOP frontrunner status, the goodfellas are
letting the uppity black conservative have it.

Arafat was poisoned by the Hamas causing his demise. But Lewinsky's stank, on the cigar, had to be a contributing factor.

There is still no proof that Herman Cain did the harassing. Apparently, the settlement agreement is confidential. Plus, if that lady settled for $32,000 - I don't think there was much substance there to begin with. Plus, the lady that got a lawyer to speak for her can't even put her hands on the settlement paperwork. Additionally, the board of the National Restaurant Association wasn't even aware of this settlement that was made by the NRA and its executives. It was poorly put together and won't hold any water.

Yet, the "gossipers" and the Politico reporters are swarming all over it like bees. I think this should be a good indicator as to how good the reporting is for Politico. They don't have any facts, really - and, they didn't speak to any of the people who have worked for Herman Cain in the past. So, how does this even make it a real story? It's rubbish. Nothing more, nothing less.

Anyone can write for "Politico". Make crap up, attribute it to "anonymous sources" and let it ride. Then follow that up with an entourage of attorneys claiming to speak for the "anonymous sources" just to see what sticks. Kind of like chimpanzees throwing their own feces against the cage. Makes for good low life scum sucking political theatre.

The three victims each worked for Cain.

Of course it's a 'real story'. By next week
Cain will be polling down in the teens and by
Thanksgiving he'll be back in single digits
where he belongs.

Please don't tell me that you're buying into 100% of what Obama, Reid and Pelosi keep running their mouths on. 4 Trillion in more debt since taking office? On what? America has nothing to show for it. Or, do they?

- More unemployment.

- More housing foreclosures.

- A reduced credit rating.

- Higher medical premiums.

Am I missing anything else?

Yea... are you voting for the mormon? the clown texan? 9-9-9 (or as bachman puts it, 'turn it upside down...wooooo'). The GOP Candidates are a comedy show that I love watching.

Well, if it's going to be 4 more years of the "same old, same old" then you and I better just kiss our asses goodbye. Because when Obama is done, we won't have enough talent in America to put our country back together. There is no Reagan waiting in the wings to "fix" the mess that Jimmy Carter left.

How come none of the Liberals can explain why the "Occupy Oakland" group smashed out the windows on the Whole Foods store? What did Whole Foods have to do with anything? The whole occupy movement doesn't have a direction and they don't really know what they want other than to have someone pay their heating bill and school loans so they can live in their mommy's basement where the world is all safe for them.

You mean triple the deficit Reagan? I love how the GOP conveniently forgets about that. At least Ron Paul isn't in denial. Seriously, who are you going to vote for?

Perhaps if you blow Christie or Bloomberg, they might enter the race and give the GOP a fighting chance. With the current lineup, this will be a breeze for Obama.

I'm going to vote for anyone but Obama. Seriously.

It's funny how you're going back into history and pulling out a few negative items on Reagan. After all, he was responsible for 25 years of solid job growth. If it had not been for Reagan getting into office, where would America be? Not where we are now. Actually, I shouldn't say that because where we are right now is not a very good spot to be in. We have an individual who thinks he's a president, but is clueless on how to really create some jobs and get an economy growing. And, no, the answer is not to raise the taxes on the rich.

The negatives are what the GOP is blasting Obama with. Hypocritical much? The rich have so many loopholes that raising taxes on them aren't going to do crap. Didn't I hear there was 3 Trillion abroad awaiting to be repatrioted. While I understand that's how things work, it's bullshit. Fucking spend 1T on wars the last 10years. Yeah, let's put another Cheney in the whitehouse. I still don't get why every GOP is in line to blow Reagan.

Reagan doubled the revenue brought into the national treasury during his presidency. The Democrat controlled congress during Reagan's tenure figured out a way to spend twice that. Ever hear of the CRA whose roots began during the Carter administration?

The CRA spawned sub-prime mortgage lending, which boomed starting in the mid-1990s under President Bill Clinton. When the bubble burst, millions of sub-prime borrowers—the low-income people the CRA was created to help—found themselves owing more than their homes were worth. This set off the foreclosure cascade, tipped the economy into a prolonged recession, and plunged many families into poverty after they lost the homes they couldn’t afford but that Washington induced them to buy.

Let's go back even further. Ever hear of "The Great Society"?

Hatched by social engineers who cooked up President Lyndon Johnson’s "Great Society," the War on Poverty spawned a welfare mentality that has trapped the poor in a web of dependency, spent $16 trillion—without making a dent in the poverty rate—and will burn through another $10.3 trillion over the next 10 years.

How about the U.S. Dept. of Education? Another Jimmy Carter creation.

The U.S. Department of Education has spent trillions of tax dollars growing a bloated, top-down bureaucracy, but American public education still lags behind other countries. Now, President Obama wants to bribe states with billions more if they give in to additional federal interference in their schools: "If states show that they’re serious about reform," says President Obama, "we’ll show them the money."

Department of Energy;

Despite funding numerous projects that never get off the ground, the U.S. Department of Energy has seen its budget grow by more than $11 billion in the last 10 years—a 76% increase! Because our nation is looking for spending to cut, the DOE might be the place to start. Instead of focusing on opening new sources of energy, the DOE pushes politically correct pet projects that are expensed to the American people.

Illegal Alien Reform:

They’re touting their Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2011 as the complete and real solution to America’s immigration problems. Hoping Americans will ignore history, though, liberals’ current manipulation is as catastrophically irresponsible as the amnesty law Congress adopted in 1986, which more than quadrupled the population of people here illegally.

We need no further lectures from liberals on the societal failures of Reaganomics. The man was not perfect solely due to a Democrat controlled congress dating 30 years plus prior his inauguration.

And if it hasn't been obvious, I place the blame for the economy square on GWB and the GOP controlled congress (many of which are still there talking out of their asses). 4years isn't enough to fix everything. Obama's kept us from a depression, wind down 2 wars, killed bin laden a shit load of other terrorists, etc. All the while a bunch of bitchy/whiney GOP white boys complaining about their pussies hurting along the way.

I guess you missed this from Thursday's news regarding the protesters outside of Goldman Sachs:

Reverend Billy, dressed in his signature white suit, called the Occupy movement “real, physical, actual hope,” and he blamed President Barack Obama for “drain[ing] all meaning from the word ‘hope.’” Talen added: “He’s no less corrupt than George Bush. He’s been unable to regulate these people,” referring to financial institutions.

It seems as though they are getting restless. Who would have thought? Blaming Obama, too? Wow. Amazing stuff!

Who's bitching and whining? Who, I ask you? Or, are you using the GOP as your smokescreen. Yeah, a smokescreen to try and cover up those comments Madam Speaker Pelosi said about the "Obamacare Plan." Yeah, that comment about getting the bill passed through so they could really see what was inside the bill. But, we won't go there because you think the GOP is all about whiny cry-babies and we're not supposed to talk about clueless former speakers who has had so much plastic surgery, it has started to stretch on her brain. And, finally, didn't she whine about her government aircraft that had to stop in the middle of the US to refuel on her way home to California? So, she was upgraded to a plane that could do the trip nonstop without refueling? My mind is a bit foggy on some of those details. Maybe, you might be able to help refresh my memory a bit. OK?

You're blaming subprime on something Carter started? God you're a dope. Try looking up the repeal of Glass Steagal fuckhead. How about the laws that allowed private banking to enter subprime loans to make a quick buck. Stop talking out your asshole.

Yawn... Try living on welfare and let me know how that life works out for you. Funny that people make it seem like some glamorous life.

So he wants to reform education (something you think is broken) and you're attacking him for that? Figures.

Meanwhile, DOD (a GOP staple) spends 800B/year. You're talking what 20B for DOE?

Yeah let's build a fence. Didn't, Reagan, the second coming, help tear down a wall? Whatever, immigrants are doing jobs no white man would want to do making little money. I would rather support them then so redneck bitching about the immigrants are taking over (working at our mcdonalds, picking our strawberries, cleaning our trash).

Wahh. Stop bitching about the deficit then. No one did it better than Reagan. BTW- that whole dem controlled congress spends while a gop congress saves is a bunch of shit. GOP had everything under GWB for 6years and managed to fuck things up severely. I haven't forgotten.

Obama 2012!

Yep, they're pissed. In other news, mammals breath air. Unlike you teabaggers, they're non-partisan.

Funny you referenced the plane thing. Tells me you believe in those emails that people like to circulate to scare people. Snopes.com is your friend.

Actually, this is the one thing that drives me nuts about the Right-Wingers. They are so fucking gullible and will jump on ANYTHING that fights the left w/o consideration. Palin is a perfect example. Bachman, another one. My god, these are the craziest motherfuckers out there but the Party loves to embrace them. Just stop and think. And maybe ask a question. And maybe look up an answer. Fucking learn something bitches!

Herman Cain will never be president, nor even the Repug. nominee, for three (3) reasons:

1) Cain takes great pride in his ignorance of global affairs, a fact understandably unnerving to American voters in this unstable age.

Quote: “When they ask me, ‘Who is President of UBEKI-beki-beki-becki-stan, stan, I am going to say ‘Do you know?’”

Quote: "[China has] indicated that they're trying to develop nuclear capability…” Which, of course, China has possessed since 1964.

2) Cain’s 9s Economic Plan is a joke. Just ask The National Review, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, or any reputable economist.

3) Cain supports a woman’s right to choose when it comes to abortion.

Quote: “…it’s not the government’s role or anybody’s role to make [the abortion] decision. Secondly, if you look at the statistical incidents, you’re not talking about that number. What I’m saying is it ultimately gets down to a choice that the family or that mother has to make. Not me as president, not some politician, not a bureaucrat. It gets down to that family. And whatever they decide. I shouldn’t have to tell them what decision to make for such a sensitive issue.”
