Saying they understand the frustration of the Occupy folks isn't the same thing as wrapping yourself around the Tea Party albatross that is making a mockery of your party's primaries.

Hate lobbyists? Block a port. Makes perfect sense to me.

How about this idea? Hop on I-80 for an hour and a half and move your protest to Sacramento where you might actually find a lobbyist to protest. You seriously can't make this stuff up.

You can attempt to deny the Democrats attempt to snuggle up next to the occupiers all you want (especially now that these loons are being exposed for what they are), but the fact remains that many prominent Democrats, including the President, have fueled their insanity.

The Tea Party didn't disrupt the lives of other people in their attempts to make a point. They attended town meetings and lambasted their representatives for pushing a bill none of them wanted. Even with the supposed presence of all the folks with weapons and conceal carry permits, no one was shot, arrested en masse, or overly disruptive - other than the SEIU thugs.

This occupy movement is going to come back and bite the Democrats in the ass - it already is with the disruption of legitimate business, destruction of property and the mass of overtime pay being required for police and public works cleanup. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot - these folks will be haunting the results of the next election - there will be a lot of recrimination over this in the MSM once the results are in.
