BEYOND BROKE
Posted by: ECONOMY IS EVIL ()

Economy is slowly destroying people's lives. Rather than CRYING out poor; get out there and get an education after highschool, get a job. NOTHING will get better over night. IF people DO NOT do what they must to survive this current ECONOMY...financially, people will suffer and it will continue to get worse and worse all over. SO FAR, nothing seems to be getting better ONLY worse.

ENOUGH SAID.

For those who already are going to school/college and have a job; please stay where you are if that's the best for you for your future. Quitting what you are doing now with the abilities, talents and skills you have; is not wise. Tough it out, learn from any past mistakes made and move on foward through life rather dwell in the past. THINK positive. Stay and BE HAPPY.

I would not waste money on a college education nowadays especially if you have to take out student loans. Many college graduates are working jobs that do not require a degree. Now if your parents can afford it and its not that big of a deal financially college is good to have, but a degree does not mean what it used to.

Its true but you still need one. The wiser route would be instead of going to a private school costing outrageous amounts of money like 40+ k a year, go to a cheaper school that is much more cost friendly

I imagine some of those having a hard time finding a job can hide out in college running up those loans - wait out the storm.

And you don't need a degree. You need a skill or talent that is usable at a job somewhere - and college is not the only place where you can acquire a skill.

Try NVCC for two years with a guaranteed articulation to Mason. Great degrees, little bucks.

It's a bitch no question about it. getting fucked with student loans can and will be a problem after the 5th forbearance.

The other bitch is you rich fuckin kids who have it good where the parents paid for the school, you sit back at your parents McMansion and leach and bitch about how hard you have it.

They are purposely imploding the economy. My advice to anyone taking out a student loan is to think very carefully about it.
