Why I Post On FFXU
Posted by: mcsmack ()

Why does a guy living in South Beach post on FFXU?

It's funny and entertaining.

90% of the residents in the DC metro area do not agree with me politically and makes for interesting debate.

I have one thing in common with many citizens of Fairfax. I'm rich. Probably worth more than many of you but rich is rich.

Fairfax was the first county in the United States to reach a six-figure median household income, and has the second-highest median household income of any local jurisdiction in the United States after neighbor Loudoun County.

The only caveat is the different methods in which we became wealthy.

The U.S. capital has swapped top spots with Silicon Valley, according to recent Census Bureau figures, with the typical household in the Washington metro area earning $84,523 last year. The national median income for 2010 was $50,046. That's only about a 40% difference.

Federal employees whose compensation averages more than $126,000 and the nation’s greatest concentration of lawyers helped Washington edge out San Jose as the wealthiest U.S. metropolitan area, government data show.

Total compensation for federal workers, including health care and other benefits, last year averaged $126,369, compared with $122,697 in 2009, according to Bloomberg News calculations of Commerce Department data. There were 170,467 federal employees in the District of Columbia as of June. The Washington area includes the District of Columbia, parts of Northern Virginia, eastern Maryland and eastern West Virginia.

And these are the people always crying about the rest of us rich folk out here not paying sufficient sacrifice.

The flow of federal dollars in and around the nation’s capital helped the region weather the economic slump better than most areas and is contributing to its recovery. The unemployment rate in the Washington metro area in August was 6.1 percent, compared with 10 percent in San Jose, according to Labor Department figures. Nationally, joblessness was 9.1 percent in September for a third straight month.

Of course you have to factor in all the lobbyists for companies that are payed well to pay off politicians keeping them off their backs. Protection money if you will.

But on balance the DC metro area primarily steals from the private sector to sustain the richest lifestyle in the country. This is not all due to housing costs either so spare me that usual bullshit defense.

What we have set up here in this country with the ruling class elite and all their supporting staffs and stooges is immoral. Many of you need to be fired. Many of you have redundant positions in government only adding to its administrative inefficiency.

We do need a flat tax or tax code simplification to render the song and dance routine we've seen going on between politicians and lobbyists for years obsolete.

I made my money the old fashioned honest way. Hard work and starting from scratch. I pay your paycheck not the other way around. That's the difference between me and many of you. That's the difference between reality and fantasy.

So if I understand correctly, there are three reasons you post on FFU.

1. It's funny and entertaining.
2. Political debates.
3. Well written, yet rambling diatribe about being rich with undertones of superiority complex.

"I'm rich"

Reminds me of the guy who posted pictures of his 'boat' . . . .

I'll also take a guess, based on your rambling bs: you are an uneducated didohead.

I did before I moved. It is decent to visit; not so much to live. If I wanted a multicultural cesspit with bad weather, Norfolk is cheaper.

Mcsmack, Can you get back to me with your best beach front property rental? I'm planning a winter vacation and I want the best money can buy. Make it snappy and dont forget to send me brochures. While you're at it, please arrange my travel affairs. I'll look for you at the airport when we arrive. Please wear the big sign around your neck like you did last time so I recognize you.

Tips for mcsmack,

People that are genuinely wealthy don't feel a need to get on the internet and describe how wealthy they are. They also don't feel a need to state they live in South Beach or that "I pay your paycheck."

Sounds like mcsmack has some narcissistic defenses going on.

Agreed, but I'm sure a few people on here would say you are a narcissist as well, eesh.

Tip for eesh:

Spent a little more time around very wealthy people and you'll see the folly of your comments.

Granted, some act like church mice, but the rest never stop talking about how much money they have in one way or another.

As for the internet part, I see no reason for them to act any differently here than anyone else. Those here making $35k act like they're making $130k. Why shouldn't someone that makes $300k act like a billionaire?

Of course, none of that goes to what Mcsmack was really talking about does it? He was stating that he pays a shitload of taxes and everyone (seemingly) in Fairfax is a government employee.

No, Mcsmack was very clear he is richer than everyone else that posts here, and wealthier than most people in the DC area.

Also, despite what you said, genuinely wealthy people do not feel a need to go online and tell everyone they are rich. The only reason Mcsmack does it is because he thinks it adds credibility to his arguments. "Well if someone as rich as Mcsmack believes that IT MUST BE RIGHT AND TRUE!"

I liked the time when mcsmack was bragging about staying on the 60th floor of Mandalay Bay. a) cuz there is no 60th floor, they only say that to sucker in people like mcsmack and his friends, and b) anybody on the planet with a 1,000 bucks can stay there for 3-4 nights. I lol'd.

No. It seems if you are wealthy and have created and earned wealth solely in the private sector and pay enormous sums into the federal treasury already, you are suppose to sit quietly by why the POTUS, ungrateful public sector scum bags and people whose entire subsistence depends on folks like me run you down and demand you pay them more. I say fuck em. Half the people who post here are nothing but pimples on the human race ass. (They know who they are.)

Kind of like the meaningless troll who posted an old photo of me that I myself posted on this forum long ago. Wow! What a sleuth!

Anyway I'm not here to argue with them on my premise. What I state is fact.
