Obama's Children Are Senior Staffers?

Oh my! Based on a FOIA request, information has been gathered on the trip to Africa the Obama's took during the month of June. Please keep in mind, the family of the president is not exempt from their travel expenses and the Obama's should have covered these expenses for the travel, etc. out of their own pocket.

So, it's all well and good, right? Well, not really. Apparently, the Obama's - or the staff members of the Obama's labeled the roles of the children as "Senior Staff" so they didn't have to pay for the expenses of the trip.

How many jobs would these expenses have created? How many meals could they have fed to homeless people? How many medical visits could have been covered for the needy without medical coverage?

Yes, folks, this is your president - the one who is trying so hard to carefully look out for you - the citizen of the U.S.

Where is MediaMatters when it comes to the Conservative party? Are they able to stand up and dissect every bit of information that gets released? If the Obama's truly paid for their children on these trips, then just release a copy of the check. It should be easy, right? Or, is it just as hard as releasing a birth certificate?
