I say destroy the entire middle east and turn that desert into glass. These people are a waste of human life and need to be eliminated from the planet!

Don't worry.
Sooner or later the islamic jihadists will get their hands on WMD and use it in one of our major population centers killing hundreds of thousands.
The entire nation will see red and demand that even the smallest threat of such an attack ever happening again be totally annihilated.
Imperialist Rightists like me will be ushered into power and we'll have the perfect pretext we need to engineer the world how we see fit once again.
The islamofascist 5th column within America will also finally be cracked down upon by the state as well; which will be a very positive and much overdue change.
It will also silence the 5th column treasonous Left in America as well; just like the jihadist attacks did following 9/11 - although that only lasted about a year or so...
And such an attack could also very easily spark WWIII as the American war machine gets kicked into full old school colonization mode.
We'll most likely bomb and invade the oil rich Middle East in order to ensure a stable oil supply and fund additional military campaigns.
God have mercy on whoever gets in our national crosshairs.
It will make what we did in Iraq and Afghanistan - what with our soft "hearts and minds" strategy - look tame in comparison.
Nukes are simply unncessary.
It would be like nuking America before we invaded and colonized it a few hundred years ago.
Why spoil the land?
Just defeat the savage inhabitants, take it over and develop it.
Lots of beautiful landscapes in the Middle East and the "muslim world"...
I call dibs on Saudi beachfront property!
