FB is a decent marketing tool, but as an actual social network, few things are gayer. Maybe Twitter, I don't know.

I have it, used it a couple of times. I get all kind of notifications from Facebook saying you have calls and notifications pending but it's like I really loss interesting.

Only old guys, like WTL, and politicians use twitter. Its so they can feel hip and with "it." but they don't know what "it" is anymore.

I just looked at my old Myspace page, hadn't looked in nearly a year.

Tons of spam from bozos I never met or want to meet.


FB is good for looking up pics of old chicks you banged or wanted to years ago, most of them are fat and married to clowns now, so it is especially gratifying.

The people who post their every stupid move and mood on FB are really going to be considered dated and passe in the near future.

Here's the deal with Social Media. If you are trying to run a business using it, you'll accomplish a hell of a lot more with one face-to-face meeting with a prospect versus a year of sending them meaningless shit through LinkedIn or Facebook.

From what i've seen there are a lot of on-line businesses
that advertise through FB. The people who frequent FB may
be the same ones that do a lot of online ordering.

If your "family and friends" want you to use Facebook to stay in touch, they don't really like you, and don't really want to make so much effort as to pick up the phone or write you a letter or an email to see if you're still alive. Chances are they hate you, but don't want to experience the pain of hearing you whine, "Where have you been? I never hear from you" at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Really, they hate you. The stupid shit that you post online amuses them. They wish they didn't, but unfortunately still know you well enough to know that shit you post about being so deep, introspective and sensitive is bullshit.

Also, who gives a fuck about your life, real or otherwise? If you're doing something so cool, yet have time to update your facebook or send out a tweet about it, that's lame/you're not interesting/your life sucks/nobody cares/stick to shit you know like playing Call of Duty, eating Cheetos, jerking off in a sock, trying to get dates from hot online chicks, and being a virgin.

Seriously, if someone really cared, they'd call/text you while driving. All this "Oh, I just use it to keep in touch with friends" shit is ridiculous. It's just everyone's way to make themselves feel a little more special and important.

Get rid of your Facebook/Twitter/Whateverthehellelsethereis. Start talking to real people in real life again and maybe you'll get over that social anxiety and save yourself some cash on the meds.

I never made a facebook cause I was smart enough not to document my drunken escapades and broadcast them on the internet. but now, people (women) all take pictures for their facebook when theyre out on the weekend and I end up on it anyway. Fuck facebook.
