Essential people or people who keep this forum going
Posted by: Old thinker ()

These people are the ones who are responsible for this forum's success:
MrMisery
Wingnut
WTL
Tuttle
Shadow
The Meeper
Dika-Dika
JBass
Provalone
I think we owe these people a round of applause. Thanks for giving this site life. Oh yea, last one, Cary

MrMisery - Has a taste for provocation and nothing is going to restrict his freedom. He is in a mad revolt against something

Wingnut - Seen life, done deeds and lived romances — has traipsed around, has a broad grasp of the country, its conditions

WTL - He could talk to anybody until they felt like all their intelligence was gone. With his tongue, he ripped and slashed and could make anybody uneasy, also could talk his way out of anything.

Tuttle - Seemed to have some golden grip on reality, didn't sweat the small stuff, quoted the Psalms and slept with a pistol near his bed

Dika-Dika - Gruff, a mass of bristling hair, don't give a damn attitude, a confident hunter.

JBass - Dreaming to leave footprints on the sands of time.

Provalone - When he talks, his voice is loud, like the booming of war drums.

eesh - Gazes into the gray mist with tear-blinded eyes and writes posts that float in a luminous haze.

Cary - An old wolf, gaunt and battle-scarred.

I am the wife. You should see me in a dress. I am a catcher not a pitcher.

Mephisto - An authentic tough guy, dramatic and intense. A boyish smile and a hard-core hostility. When his food is shoved in to him, he growls like a wild animal.

Conie paused at the foot of the great staircase and listened, and Harry Tuttle was as dead, so without movement was he as he watched and waited. Up that staircase the way led to the love-master and to the love-master's dearest possessions. Harry bristled, but waited. Conie's foot lifted. She was beginning the ascent.

Then it was that Harry struck. He gave no warning, with no snarl anticipated his own action. Into the air he lifted his body in the spring that landed him on Conie's back. Harry clung with his fore-paws to her shoulders, at the same time burying his fangs into the back of her neck. He clung on for a moment, long enough to drag her over backward. Together they crashed to the floor. Harry leaped clear, and, as Conie struggled to rise, was in again with the slashing fangs.

Mr. Misery awoke in alarm. The noise from downstairs was as that of a score of battling fiends. There were revolver shots. A woman's voice screamed once in horror and anguish. There was a great snarling and growling, and over all arose a smashing and crashing of furniture and glass.

I don't understand the importance of Mr. Misery to this forum. His posts are sick, distorted and seem to be based completely upon the PTSD he suffers from when he was a young boy and served in the Catholic church under the warm hands of a horny priest. Now, us here on the forum are left with the "issues" of Mr. Misery - his posts that take reality to the far reaches where they are no longer reality. He has demonstrated that he has a bi-polar disorder that seems to cycle quite rapidly as we've witnessed him go from wanting to kill himself to a complete revelation about wanting to live and enjoying life just 3 hours later.

Yes, many of us are thankful that we don't have to suffer in life as Mr. Misery has done. Yet, should a person of his character even be recognized for his membership and postings here on the forum? I think not. A person of his character should be under the constant care of a psychiatrist until his issues have received all of the proper diagnosis and then the proper care to start the process of cleaning up his character flaws.

Actually, you know who really keeps this forum alive? It is the annon poster, say what you will but research has proved that it is the annon poster that whatforever reason adds his two pennies for the record that either sets the site going or moves it along. The registered posters do contribute, I'm not taking anything away from them, but they are pretty much set in one type of thinking mode and most of them are more or less superfluous. The most interesting and funny threads are first put in motion by annon, folks, or folks who are registered but prefer to start a thread under a annon moniker. This is very well known and respected "theory" in internet communication.

Alias, your problem isnt your politics it's your cynicism and unquenchable need for attention. It makes you out to be a rather desperate person, fun on the outside but ugly inside.

The only thing Misery adds to this forum are dozens of pointless threads when he wants to roll all the threads he doesn't like off the page. On a rare occasion hell freezes over and he has a thread that has some meaning beyond mindless parroting BS.

EDIT: So - if creating thread upon endless (pointless) thread is somehow a virtue in regards to the forum, then you might have an argument.

Per Dante, the foremost expert on the subject, hell is ALWAYS frozen over.

It follows from your logic that Mr. Misery's threads are always meaningful.
