Wasn't there an urban legend about some guy who survived the crash of the tower he was in by surfing down the debris? I think this was a distortion of an actual story of a guy who was trapped inside the stairwell and fell down with the debris when it crumpled.

No fucking way "surfing" down debris happened, Given the velocity and heat of debris turning into dust as the building Violently imploded, everything of organic matter would have been pulverized, And things of this nature.
I was interesting years later seeing videos of the buildings especially " WTC # 7" collapse violently inward.
