Alright you bike riding assholes, it's time to pick one: the sidewalk or the road.

You can't ride down the middle of the road at 10 mph and give the cars behind you the stink eye AND ride down the sidewalk almost sideswiping pedestrians and giving them dirty looks because they had their earphones on. If you want the roads, stay off the sidewalks. If you want the sidewalks, stay off the fucking road.

Did you catch that article by the guy who was hit during Ride Your Bike To Work Day last May in Tysons? Cyclists were saying that it's better to ride in the middle of the lane to "Force" cars to respect you, as opposed to riding off to the shoulder. They sound like some serious assholes.

I like to ride my bike, but I really hate those kind of assholes who dress up in spandex like they think they're Lance Armstrong and get all pissed off when some lady with a stroller doesn't jump out of their way because they are riding balls to the wall at 30 mph down a multi-use trail like they own it.

And they all have that attitude that they are somehow put upon and need protection from teh evil cars. Over in Maryland they lobbied and got a law passed that says you have to give them 3 fucking feet of space when passing them, so they all ride in the lane on MacArthur Blvd. and cause cars to back up like they're leading a parade. Pass them and they shoot you the finger.

I saw a biker get hit by car when he ran a stop sign on MacArthur a few weeks ago. He wasn't hurt but he took a tumble over the hood and when he got up he was all pissed off, even though he blew the signal and caused the accident. Lucky the guy in the car didn't roll over his fucking ankles like he deserved.

I always have a good laugh when bike douches get run over. Sometimes, I celebrate by buying a round of drinks.

about 10 yrs ago i sideswiped one of those fuckers on walney rd. the look on his face when he hit my windsheild was priceless. his bike went under my car and he flipped over my roof and landed on the other side of the road. i didn't even bother stopping to see if he needed help.

this spandexed davis phinney wannabe pulled a classic a-hole cyclist move.

leaving my neighborhood, street ends at a T intersection with crossing traffic no stop sign, only my street. i see this clown coming up behind me while i'm sitting behind two cars at the sign. i'm going right, turn signal is on indicating as such. this dummy cuts to the right of me, passing my passenger side door, then proceeds to the stop sign in front of the car waiting there, and rides out going left.

what's the big deal? well, there was no sidewalk or shoulder, the road ended and the ground raised up. he had about a foot of road to ride on. had the car/cars in front of me gotten out i would have been moving forward AND starting to turn right, as my signal indicating i was doing. if jerky lips bianchi peddler was two seconds later i would have wiped him out into the dirt.
