A couple of regular posters, (we all know who), getting out their firearms and oiling them up for the expected anti-climax of this storm. AC generator with modified muffler so it runs as silent as possible.

A few shovels and some gardening tools as well.

I have bought 5 of those plastic 50 gallon canisters for rain water collection along with the related gear to feed into them. 1 thimble of chlorine will be added to the 50 gallon water jugs to make it safe to drink for long term storage when time arrives.

Keeping various propaganda in boxes to make it look like I am for who ever is the political winner as to attempt to keep various savages out of my house.

Sold my new car and bought used POS as not to invite potential scum to my home.
Bought tire repair kits to keep cost down

A few MREs (50 to 100) are great to have on hand if you have to eat on the run but they store for only 5 years under ideal storage conditions. The dehydrated stuff will store 18 to 25 years. That is what you really want to stock up on plus water and 5 different ways to purify water.

I have put away 50 $1000.00 bags of general circulation silver quarters and silver dimes - Pre 1964.

If the end isn't here before I croak, my family will get the surprise of this treasure hoard. I had safes installed in my basement with poured concrete, and that is also where my guns and ammo are stored.

I have some freeze dried food items, and a hand pump in my basement for the well I drilled under the house.

I have 3 older Chevrolet trucks - Pre 1985 that are easy to repair, and a nice collection of repair parts for each truck. Each truck is 4x4, and have the same motor and manual transmissions.

I have 5000 gallons unleaded gasoline in 500 gallon poly tanks, and 4 Honda 6000W generators.

All of this is in Clifton off of Henderson Road right under your nose.

I have numerous cases of MRE's and I regularly eat the older ones dating back to the early/mid 1990's when camping. I'm living proof that MRE'S readily keep 20+ years.
