Coach to Serve 1 Month After Sex

Stafford, Va. – A high school coach charged with having sex with a minor had is felony charge reduced.

Police said 31-year-old Christopher Terrebonne worked last year as a substitute teacher at Brooke Point High School, where he met the 16-year-old girl. On June 27, he invited the girl over to his home where the two had consensual sex.

Terrebonne will serve one month in jail, but since the girl was over 15-years-old and was not under Terrebonne’s supervision the crime does not qualify as a felony, Fredericksburg.com reported.

Terrebonne will not coach at any Stafford County school this upcoming school year.
