Lowes (LOW) Rock solid company currently at 19.51. Sold for 23.00 about a month ago before the big market swings. You can get 500 shares at 20.00 wait a few weeks and sell for 23.00 or more. I know 1,500 doesnt sound like alot but IMO Lowes is a no risk company. And 1,500 isnt a bad return for waiting a couple of weeks.

Worst case scenario if the market doesnt go right back up is to hold for a few months.

There's no such thing as a safe stock. If you want safety, buy US Treasuries. Otherwise, you take your chances on losing money in your investment.

Re. Safe stocks

No such thing.

Mr. Know-it-all - incorrect; the Treasury can default and the dollars are being inflated like no one's business.

As for silver - buy bars and bury them, preferably in a bank box in a safe jurisdiction.
