What happens at 30?

I hear a lot of people say this and that is/isnt acceptable after age 30. You can do this, you can't do that. Or being "Over 30" etc. What exactly happens at 30? I recently turned 30 and I feel about the same as I did when I was 22. I dont feel or look much different. I guess I might as well join the old people's club simply because I reached a certain age?

When you are over 30, you need to start acting like an adult. That means no more dressing like you are 19, putting hot rod shit on your Corolla and treating members of the opposite sex like shit as part of some stupid mind game you've come up with.

It's very complicated these days as to what styles and such "belong
to which generation. The lines are so fuzzy.
BUT...remember when girls were wearing midriff bearing shirts?

Things that I learned in my 30s-
- It's probably the best decade of your life. It's the first time people start to respect you and you have the looks, energy and drive to make things happen.
- You learn how to get your priorities straight. If you have a wife and kids, you learn how to put them first and quit fucking around with "childish things."
- You start having major nostalgia for the first time in your life...missing things from your childhood and teens.

And not everyone in their teens and 20s is a baby faced pimply geek wearing a graphic t-shirt and playing video games. Ive seen teens that look middle aged and 30 year olds that look 16. You missed my point. I was saying that by the time you are 30 you should start acting like an adult. That's not to say that there aren't 20-somethings who do already. But 35-year-olds walking in graphic T's and chasing 20-ish pussy at college bars is fucking lame.

It means you have another decade of futility to look forward to.
To be 30 in the 1950's and 1960's was to have the world by the balls and a golden future to look forward to.
To be 30 in the 1970's through the 1990's was to get high and pretend you had a future.
To be 30 in the 2000's is to hang on for dear life and hope you can at least survive.
Now, to be 30 is to know there is NO future and you're going down with the ship no matter what you do. And there will be some bitch in your life telling you what you should have done to prevent the Titanic from going under. She'll leave you for some asshole who has a nicer piece of wreckage to hang on to.
