Is a juicer really a wise investment?

I've developed a taste for juices this summer. I usually buy antioxid. juices and exotic types. You people who have juicers (Jack Lalanne) do they really work or do they turn into "white elephants".

I looked into juicers a while back and read some reviews. After
a while I got the impression that with the price of fruit in the
supermarkets these days you're probably just as well off buying the ready
made stuff.

you will never find fresh juice in the stores

it's all been concentrated or pasteurized... that kills the natural vitamin content

the only fresh stuff you can find is orange, grapefruit and kedeem grape or martinelli's apple juice.

anything that will last more than a few days is bullshit

the downside of a juicer is you have to clean the fucking thing every time you use it

BUy a used one if you must, people dump diet and fitness related stuff all the time at a huge discount when they don't get the unrealistic results they desire.

Fresh juice tastes great, I like Banana/OJ with Strawberries and crushed ice and all kinds of smoothies, but I think the health effects are exaggeratted.

You need the fiber to help break down the nutrients more slowly, and while you get some of the pulp still, you're also geeking your blood sugar level a lot faster with juices.

+1

Getting the fiber is critical. Juicers really don't help much in that regard.
