Monte Carlo SS

I just noticed that the more recent Chevy Monte Carlo SS are front-wheel-drive. Who the hell drops a V8 in to a FWD car? Seems kind of odd to me.

The old Monte Carlos are very popular with gangs in LA. As they call them Monte C's.
