Please call Alias.  Ask her to bring these things with her from the store:  Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob.  We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids.  She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station.

Actually the born-again christian friend likes to drink, and I have Muslim friends who drink too. But these aren't the kind of muslims who go on the weather channel website to spout their mythological beliefs. They act like normal people, not a bunch of dumb rednecks.

I believe she may secretly have a crush on you, Numbers. You know..warm for your form?

Considering you tend to take over every thread you can jam your anti-Christian notions into, she was just trying to give you another chance to heat up the romance.

Plain as the ........uh............tactics in your posting.

Alias is a very pious woman, who lives by a strong moral code of obedience to God and country. For this, she will be rewarded handsomely in the life hereafter.

So...by commenting on a subject of a thread, I'm "taking it over"?

I know about the crush Alias has on me. It's nice to know that she thinks about me all day and tries for my attention so much. But being the atheist I am, I'm far to busy killing and eating babies and making deals with Satan to ask her out for a date.

I wonder where I could take Alias on our date? Any suggestions?

I used to have all types of church groups stop by my house in an effort to "Save my soul". That's really funny because I was already a Christian, and knew more about the Bible than they did. These "posers" go door to door trying to frighten people to go to their little strip mall cult churches with this message that the Earth is coming to an end. All of them were the same, except for the Mormons. At least those guys will shovel your driveway for just 5 minutes of your time. (Although I think they are totally misguided - After all they pedal around their bikes in business suits in our neighborhood when its 100 degree's outside). I always have to remind them, that God created a guy that invented shorts.

Alias-

Sorry to take so long to respond to your initial post. As an agnostic, I was too busy raping and murdering children all day because of my lack of moral grounding which can only come from a personal relationship with Jesus.

Jesus hates Christians. Thats why he wipes them out with earthquakes, tornados and tsunamis.

Isn't that also why Roger Waters spit on a fan at a Pink Floyd show once?

Yes, that's right. He rained fiery hell on them for their young lust and needing dirty women. When he was finished wiping out millions of life forms from fire and great flooding, he asked, Is anybody out there?

This might come as a surprise to you, but I was actually asked to write words and music for a few christian singers to sing at their church. We made a few deals and I wrote 3 gospel songs. One of which got stolen by a very famous contemporary christian group and used on their tour. They were about to record it on their next CD when the person I wrote the song for got wind of what was happening and put the kibosh on it.

I didn't care who did what with it and I'm not sure what happened to it after that, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to know it was or is played on christian radio. It was a big hit here locally and might have been really big if the group would have recorded it and put it out there.

I also did a gospel song for black baptist church with a full choir.

It's not too difficult writing gospel songs. They all say basically the same shit. "Oh god, we worship you. Thank you for not killing us, blah, blah blah".
The ones I wrote were very different and much deeper, but keeping with a similar gospel structure.

That was quite a while ago, before digital and I had to bounce 2- 4 track reel to reel recorders and play all the instruments. Took me 2 weeks.

That's a trip. I would love to hear some of that, but I gather you would prefer not to post that material (which is quite understandable).
