I inadvertently accepted firefox 5 the other day, but it isn't compatible with google tool bar. I can't seem to find a firefox 4 download anywhere. Any leads?

Had to settle for firefox 3.6 because Mozilla isn't supporting 4 anymore.

Toolbars are one of the quickest ways to slow down your browser. I would be happy it doesn't support the toolbar. Any time I have to fix someone's computer with a virus, they will almost universally have at least 2 to 3 toolbars installed.

Just go to the google page, how hard is that? You type google by itself in any address line it will take you straight to the search page.

Or you can just use Chrome and search directly through the address bar.

The latest Firefox sucks ass. I know they are trying to protect users from phishing, etc, but I've found myself using Safari instead.

Safari is only good on Macs. Do you have a Mac?

I think that's been established, yes.

I know that. I was saying that it is only worth using on Mac. Sucks dick on Windows...

Firefox 5 is really, really poorly thought out. They shouldn't have issued it until it was in better shape. It's like the Vista of web browsers. Terrible.

Why does Internet Explorer continue to suck, update after update? Is it that hard to look at what's wrong with your browser and fix those problems? Why do businesses continue to use it?

With all of your complaints about Opera/Windows, Firefox and IE, I would be furiously demanding a refund!

I downgraded to 3.6 as well. Firefox 5 does not accept Adobe's new flash plug-in, 10.3, for some reason. I've installed and re-installed, and finally just gave up. 3.6 accepts flash 10.3, and so does Safari. They really screwed up.

what's wrong with Youtube? Why can't I watch videos? They're just black boxes here and even on the Youtube site itself, videos won't play. Just black boxes.
