I have a boyfriend that used to be a big time alcoholic and he told me he could get drunk really quick by soaking a tampon in vodka and sticking it up his ass. He said he could pass breathalyzers and be drunk as shit.

Its called an enema. It works to get drunk. Alcohol is absorbed in the bloodstream, which a breathalyzer tests.

It is possible to get drunk through your ass, however the breathalyzer does not measure the alcohol directly in your mouth or throat, but the alcohol that is expelled from your bloodstream through your lungs. In other words, this wouldn't work.

Introducing alcohol directly into the bloodstream and bypassing silly organs like your stomach, kidneys and liver is just begging to be the next person to have their name attached to an RIP thread here.

May as well open a vein and pour the shit directly into your heart. In fact, don't waste perfectly good vodka and just open a vein.
