Practice for free on Poker Stars then head up to "Hollywood" in Charles Town for some real action! They use some kind of weird rake system where you pay by the hour and I heard the dealers are prone mistakes- but the skill level is said to be poor, so you might be able to clean the clocks of some toothless yahoos gambling away their dog food money.

Come back and let us know how it goes!

I feel your pain. I went to full tilt poker, spent some bucks. But then my bank figured out, and now I can't use my accounts there anymore.

Bummer

Meeper,

Does Ctown also take a percentage of the pots or just an hourly rake?

I would rather play online than drive a couple of hours to play at Ctown.

They rake $6/person every half hour.

Full Tilt is offline now also, even the free play money site. I thank the U S government for protecting me from myself.

I did read that a class action lawsuit will be filed on behalf of all U S players. The government has seized the money without a court order or due process for the players to object to the seizure of the money.

You can get the updated software from www.fulltiltpoker.co.uk but still won't be able to play real money games though.

If you were already logged in before the software update and hadn't logged out you still could've played real money games. I was doing that until the damn power went out during Saturday's rain.

Looks as though there are a dozen or so USA players that haven't logged out since Friday; one is still playing in FTOPS #1 right now.

Just read that Poker Stars if paying anyone who had money deposited on the site. They are still fighting the feds on the right to run the site but at least the customers are getting paid.

Also Full Tilt is back online for play money only.

I think this is the right decision, because they understand that many casinos are deceiving and want to prevent you from poverty and suicide, because there are cases when people lost all their money and said goodbye to life. In fact, this is false information that all casinos play dishonestly, there is there are a lot of honest online casinos. Take for example
www.norgescasino.com/ , I play in this casino for a very long time and at first I lost $ 10-20 but then I developed my strategy and now win $ 1000 a month, but the main thing is to play wisely.

Very contradictory comment, really. I think that casinos, in principle, may indicate that obsessive gambling is addictive. Like cigarettes producers have to draw lung cancer on their packages. But don't you think it is so convenient to push the blame on the casino for losing? I read in one forum that a woman wanted to charge the casino all the money she had lost and somebody suggested that the casino also should charge her all the money she had won. It is a two-way street. When you come to online casinos https://topcasino-list.com/en/nya-casino.htm it is supposed that you are sane. It means that you must play wisely and never bet all your money or your last money.

Today a lot of casinos accept cryptocurrencies. Personally I find it to be convenient. Usually I choose a site on https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-gambling as I know for sure that the casinos from that list are checked and trustworthy. But of course, sometimes I still play with real money, and now Poker Star is not the place that I visit for this purpose.

Pokerstars is still alive, and seems like it is even more popular today comparing to the date this thread was created. I love online gambling games, too, just recently discovered for myself https://casinobetsites.com/ .
