The Problem with Contemporary Christian Music..

Whether you like it or not.
Im just talking about for people that are Christians and seeking good Christian music- you will not find it in today's CCM. Or even Southern Gospel

Because the problem is its becoming more about the artist themselves and the image. They churn out "Jesus Hits". Stale, pedestrian, and uninspired music that is made for the masses- just as bad as Pop and Rock music of today. Glossy and not Christ centered.

Also they have the sex appeal they are trying to sell for both the female and male artists. The men look like metrosexuals- overly groomed and trendy haircuts. Not saying they have to look bad, but really. They look like girls.

Its not glorifying our Lord. I refuse to listen to CCM. I do like old Southern Gospel, but the modern groups and singers and following the ways of CCM.
