WASHINGTON -- About 130 protesters demanded to meet with D.C. Mayor Vince Gray Friday.
They represented several social service groups concerned that their government funding will be cut as the mayor and city council deal with a $300 million budget gap.
Mayor Gray is set to present his budget to the council on April 1st.
The group wants Gray to raise the income taxes for the most wealthy residents. Something Gray and most of the council are reluctant to do.
