Remember the Late Night Talk Show Wars? Their Waterloo had to be the Chevy Chase Show. What a god awful mess....

Not many people remember this but Jerry Lewis had a talk show at one point and it was awful. Probably on par with Chevy.

Yeah like the Suzanne Somers show. One episode Sept 19 1994. Her guest was wonder woman. Show was cancelled a few days after the first episode aired.

It was a truly horrible show. I remember he did a skit the first night and the next night he said, "The response to this skit was so great, we are going to do it again." And they did.

Truly awful.

gI remember when they cancelled the "Pat Sajack show", Rush Limbaugh took over for a couple of nights what a fiasco that was. Audience members were calling him a "fat pig' and all kind of insults, really painful to watch.

Wow, I'd never seen that before! Was CBS trying to capitalize on Morton Downey, Jr?

As far as TV trends go, the lowest point of reality TV was a show called Who's your Daddy.

Here's the description:

For the show's premise, an adult who had been put up for adoption as an infant was placed in a room with 25 men, one of whom was their biological father. If the contestant could correctly pick out who was their father, the contestant would win $100,000. If they chose incorrectly, the person that they incorrectly selected would get the $100,000, although the contestant would still be reunited with his or her father.

Years ago it was a show called "Queen for a Day", some poor soul would come on TV and relate what a shit life she's had. The one with the worst life, won and was crowned Queen, with all kinds if gifts. The others went back to their reality.

I will give you a trend that has jumped the shark - Mr. Misery and Harry Tuttle. Those 2 need to go already - and take their menagerie of hangers on like Conie and Brown Eye Gay with them.
