...if you eat a whole package of undercooked bacon? I just put a whole package of bacon in the microwave, set it for about 13 minutes, and that's my dinner. It might be undercooked in 13 minutes by microwave, I don't know. I'm not a chef. Will I die?

13 minutes might be too long. the main concern would be the plastic wrapping. die? nah, you'll just have the shits for about a week.

it says microwave 3 slices for about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, but I was all like, 'I'm not gonna sit around and microwave 3 bacons at a time, that would take all night', so I just decided to throw the whole thing in at once and set it for around 13 minutes. I'm not a math magician. Anyway, it's starting to smell a lot like bacon, so I gotta go.

I don't cook bacon in the microwave but that sounds to long & bacon is bad for you.

Overview
Microwavable bacon provides a quick and convenient way to enjoy this flavorful cut of meat. A serving of microwavable bacon provides many of the calories, nutrients and minerals you need to meet your daily recommended allowances, and the product takes around three minutes to cook. Like many pork and red meat products, much of bacon's taste comes from its high fat content. Enjoy bacon in moderation to prevent adverse health effects.

Calories
One serving of a leading brand of microwave bacon consists of two individual slices. Each serving contains 80 calories and 60 calories from fat. By comparison, a 3-oz. serving of pork chops contains 150 calories and just 45 from fat. A 3-oz. serving of ham contains about 180 calories, 81 from fat. Most adults need about 2,000 calories each day, so a serving of bacon provides around 4 percent of your daily caloric needs.

Fat Content and Types
A two-slice serving of a leading brand of microwave bacon contains 7g of fat, equaling about 11 percent of your recommended daily allowance for this nutrient. Microwave bacon also contains 2.5g of saturated fat, or about 13 percent of your recommended daily allowance. Fat is one of three essential macronutrients, and the body needs this substance in abundance. Too much fat, however, can lead to weight gain, cardiovascular problems and diabetes. Limit your fat intake to 20 to 35 percent of your total calories.

Cholesterol
Cholesterol is similar to fat in that the body needs some to function properly, but too much can be harmful. A serving of a leading brand of microwave bacon contains 20mg of cholesterol, about 7 percent of the recommended daily allowance. Too much cholesterol in the diet can cause plaque to buildup in your arteries and induce cardiovascular disease. Limit your cholesterol intake to 300mg a day, and 200mg if you have a history of heart problems.

Sodium
A leading brand of microwave bacon contains 300mg of sodium, equaling 13 percent the recommended daily allowance for this mineral. Too much sodium in the diet may cause high blood pressure, ultimately resulting in cardiovascular disease as well. The American Heart Association recommends restricting sodium intake to 1,500mg each day. By comparison, a 3-oz. pork chop contains 50mg of sodium, while a 3-oz. serving of ham contains 55mg.

Protein
A leading brand of microwave bacon offers 5g of protein per two-slice serving. Pork chops and ham provide 25 and 24g of protein per 3-oz. serving, respectively. Protein contains 4 calories per 1g, so two slices of bacon provide about 20 calories from this macronutrient. Adults need between 50 and 175g of protein each day, depending on activity level, and protein should represent 10 to 35 percent of your calories

The high frequency waves would pretty much kill alot of microbes. Parasites used to be a problem years ago, but slaughter houses have pretty good QC regulations. Pigs are pretty well fed, food without parasites and refuge from fish plants or raw vegetable are cooked prior to given to the pigs. However, anyother country your taking a chance and could end up with your muscles infested with worms or your gut crawling with all kinds of living organism via raw pork..

Unless its weeks old you will not get sick from spoilage. 13 min for a pound un-separated would be underdone for my taste but not dangerous. You will likely not feel very good after with all that fat and sodium in your system but you might not get 'sick'

People eat high-fat/high-sodium meals like this every day but if you are not used to it you will likely have some distress. If you are used to it you will likely die of heart disease or hypertension decades before your time.

Bacon does taste good.

Just cook it in a pan. Save the oil for other things.

If you continue to eat like that yes you will. Lay off the fats. We want you around for awhile.
