Forget the mustang and get a G35 coupe... you could probably afford that now and it's better/faster

I'll never trade in my truck, it's priceless when needing transport large items or moving. My next day to day car will be something with better gas mileage. It can be a Civic for all I care. I don't need 4 wheeled status symbols.

The G35's 3.5-liter V6 makes 306 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque

The Mustang GT's 4.6-liter V8 makes 300 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque

The Mustang has slightly less horsepower but way more torque. I'd bet on the Mustang.

Yes. Mustangs respond very well to simple modifications.

I also forgot to mention that the Stang weighs slightly less than the G35.

G35 isn't a bad car, just not for me. Gotta love V8...

I love my 2005 Vette. Yes I do enjoy it every time I roll out of the garage. And, yes, the ricers roll up and think they are bad. I don't think so. The only thing that puts an even bigger smile on my face is when I open the garage door and see my 2005 Corvette sitting in MY garage next to my 1964 Corvette Stingray. I will say that I am living many a guys dream.

My uncle has a 2006 Z06. It's his baby, but he hardly fucking drives it. The weather has to be perfect for him to take it out. When we had the family over for my son's birthday, he tossed the keys to me and told me to show my son what it can do. I got on 66, floored that bitch out to Haymarket and back. I think it took all of about 90 seconds. That thing is fast as fuck.

A COUPLE DAYS AGO I JUST SAW A GREAT OUT-OF-THE-BLUE REDLIGHT RACE
WHERE SOME KID IN A MUSTANG WAS CHIRPING GEARS BEHIND SOME
RICE ROCKET TURBO CHARGED [heard the waste gate] G37 INFINTY.
IT WAS QUITE AMUSING TO SEE IT.
THE STANG WAS LIKE RRRRRRRRRRR CHIRP INTO 2nd
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR CHIRP INTO 3rd
MIND YOU, I COULD ACTUALLY SEE THE BODY OF THE CAR FLEXING LIKE
-GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY WAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
RRRRRRRRRRRRR CHIRPS INTO 4th GEAR
SO THE INFINITY SLOWED DOWN LIKE 'HOLD UP LET'S DO THIS AGAIN'.
THEN HE DID IT A COUPLE MORE TIMES JUST FOR PRINCIPLE I GUESS.
AND THEN THE STANG PROCEDED TO GO AROUND HIM LIKE HE WAS STANDING STILL.

It's "Sting Ray". At least that's what it says on MY '66. "Stingray" was for the '69-'76 models.

I stand corrected, you are right. And in 68 none at all. I have had my 64 for 10 years, what a car. Timeless design.

Dodge Challenger is pretty nice but its heaviness takes a toll on performance when compared to some other competitors.
