NPR exec Ron Schiller cozies up to a group claiming to be Muslim Brotherhood affiliated and decries "Tea Party racism" and the "ignorance of Americans" while in another breath blaming "Jewish media influence" and praising the "elite nature" of NPR and its listeners.

When pressed by one of the interviewers-“How confident are you, with all the donors that are available, if they should pull the funding right now that you would survive?,” Schiller answered this way: “Yes, NPR would definitely survive and most of the stations would survive.”

That is precisely the opposite answer Schiller’s boss, NPR CEO Vivian Schiller gave at a press conference Monday in Washington. “We take [federal defunding] very, very seriously,” she said. “It would have a profound impact we believe on our ability – of public broadcasting’s ability – to deliver news and information.”

I wouldn't and don't really defend FOX, but it's not really honest to badmouth them while ignoring the obvious slants of MSNBC and NPR.

NPR was founded with government cheese and is lucky enough to have their funding continued by govenrment budgets/your taxpayer money.

A drop in the bucket compared to excessive defense spending, but stealing a bicycle isn't OK just becsue your neighbor is stealing cars.

When an organization or person takes money from politicians they give up any and all of their rights...they are scumbags. When they donate money to political coffers for corporate access they are merely exercising their 1st amendment rights.

NPR and Public Employee Unnions are naturally part of the machine.They have no interest in cost effeciency or quality control because they have been spoiled on money from taxpaying American workers. They all depend on you to work harder so they don't have to.

These groups should be subject to prosecution under the RICO Act. I've never exactly felt that government was sacred, but it is really disgusting to have to overfeed these parasites with our tax dollars.

While NPR's news and talk shows like All Things Considered and The World try to give the impression of presenting both sides, their underlying messages and analysis will always lick the hand that feeds them- liberal political administrations.

The point and shock(!) of this video is the unabashed bigotry that a very high level NPR'er showed toward Middle Americans and his claim of Zionist media domination.

This asshole basically has shown his face that he holds a contempt for gun-owning, anti-tax Americans and conveniently labels them all as racist, all while showing a pretty serious prejudicial fear of the Jewish dominated media. I've been around liberal assholes like Schiller my entire life in and around D.C. They are very quick to posture on others who may hold a cultural bias or appear as "commoners" but are actually the most fear-filled and bigoted narrow-minds themselves.

People who are constantly looking for opportunities to call others racist, like Schiller, are often the most racist themselves. Schiller is similar to the closeted homosexuals who masks themselves in macho surroundings or the Bible but have a secret perversion for men. Very typical and textbook case of projection to hear a liberal like Schiller lambaste Tea Party "racists" and then show his own hand of anti-Semitic conspiratorialism.

If Schiller was willing to talk so openly like this with strangers, what kind of conversations do you think he has with friends and other NPR higher ups? And what kind of even subtle influence should we believe it has had on programming, content and editorials?

Let's take Schiller at his word, he must mean what he says, and one of the things he said was NPR does not need federal funding.

I like most of NPR's programming that's what sucks. The CPB will dissolve but there is no reason NPR and PBS can't survive as private enterprises as Barone points out in his article.

I think they should go public ASAP with an IPO to get them through the start up phase. They should be able to raise enough cash to keep many of there little stations running (many of which are University ran) and convert to advertising sales. That would be a great lesson for students to learn also!

And one more thing. Isn't it absolutely fucking hilarious. That a guy like O'Keefe, someone the left absolutely despises and wants us all to believe he is the dumbest most unprofessional schmuck and slime-ball, made these NPR idiots look like absolute morons. People who believe they are the smartest of the smart.
