Republicans Firmly Reverse Direction of Demokrat's Job-Destroying Policies

Thankfully with sparing small business owners with onerous income tax increases, they have indeed started hiring again. Jobless claims are dropping, now if we can get this korrupt insurance-kompany-written "health care" bill repealed companies will finally be able to release capital to hire even more people.

Jobless claims have finally dipped below the point when Obama took over and began his talks of raising taxes and destroying domestic job growth.

A Republican Congress can only go so far though, next up is the Senate where that whoring-Nevada demokrat Harry Reid can revert to his proper role as minority leader. And hopefully the White House will return to The People's control again.

Republican policies have had nothing to do with this. It's been Obama's doing.

It is actually occurring despite Obama's policies. Please point to which polices the President has initiated that have improved the economy. Got one? Not that I think the GOP has done anything this Congress to lead to these numbers either.

Actually Obama did do a few things positive the main action being to leave existing federal income tax rates basically the same for the next 21 months.

Other then that his Fed chairman Ben Bernanke has been artificially supporting the markets with the QE2 initiative which is just another way to print money.

The most important thing O could do right now and substantially increase his re-election chances would be to tell Ken Salazar to fast track every deep well drilling permit to hit his desk. And also open up ANWAR. Just signing signatures would have a positive effect on energy futures markets.

This is critical to sustain the relatively weak job growth we have now. Looking at the ADP report more closely we find that the majority of jobs growth is in the small private company (50 employees or less) sector.

http://www.adpemploymentreport.com/pdf/FINAL_Report_February_11.pdf

$5.00 per gal. fuel will snuff out what ever momentum we may now have in job growth. Not to mention put further stress on inflationary trends and consumer spending. You have to remember we have 17 million unemployed people sitting around currently on fixed incomes with those incomes vanishing quickly.

A major factor that has been lost in all the current economic mayhem is our corporate tax rate. There is currently over 3 trillion dollars held overseas by American Corp. that could be repatriated with a lower tax rate. This would be an incentive for jobs growth at our larger companies in the US.

This would have been a lot smarter move then Bernanke printing 1 trillion in cash at tax payers expense to support the markets. This is a much bigger mistake than most realize or can understand for that matter.

I really don't understand why Obama hasn't pursued action in these areas. I know he has to appease his base but I don't see how he can win the independents back approaching the next election cycle with a U6 number hovering around 15%.

The Middle East thing is going to wind up eating his lunch if he doesn't move on energy and move now. He could put the pedal to the medal on drilling, loosen restrictions on refining, even if he had to play the emergency temporary situation card, and improve his standing in short order. Easily before the elections.

As for his base he could link whatever pro fossil initiative with a bunch of his green energy stuff, windmills, batteries what have you to appease the base.

These actions would go a long way in helping to settle down the Middle East also. Or at least reduce the goat fuckers command over our economy and jobs growth.

And don't forget spring is almost here so the refineries have to re-tool their plants to make the 37 some odd seasonal derivatives for our most important environmental states like CA. Add .40 cents per gallon

Here is a perfect example of where Obama could help our country in that department, but he doesn't,,,,,

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe
Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign
oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion
barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel,
we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5..3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see
their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana
Legislature's financial analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found
in the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a
formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the
'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and
into Canada .. For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead
end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells
decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up
the Bakken's massive reserves.... and we now have access of up to 500
billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels
will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years
straight.

U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World

Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the
largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION
barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In
three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this
motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders,
than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:

- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia

- 18-times as much oil as Iraq

- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait

- 22-times as much oil as Iran

- 500-times as much oil as Yemen

- and it's all right here in the Western United States .

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the
environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America
become independent of foreign oil!

According to Snopes there's only enough oil there for a year, not 40+
