I listen to a seven-year old radio show every night. The entire show library is on thedcam.com

anybody know what I'm talking about? The show was so good.

Miss them like crazy. Actually, I miss any good radio nowadays. With don and mike gone, chad dukes selling out, and the hideout gone, there's truly no good radio left. New jfk sucks!

Hell yeah, it's good to find some old Heretics and Hideout junkies! I got the whole Hideout Library downloaded, along with the General Mix Tapes, Wadcasts, etc. I'm down here in Florida.

I swear, radio today blows a conga line of apes! The Hideout sounds even better as a rerun on my iPod now!

Even when the corporate cowards at WTKS dumped The Hideout, the show could've kept going if Jefe had not found love with some chick. THAT SHIT HAS TO BE STOPPED! Nothing brings back a great radio show like a show host ruined by divorce.

Get J-Dubs back and there's PLENTY of unemployed Heretics who could help put the show back together. There's got to be some AM station that could put The Hideout back on late nights. The show can't restart on some soulless corporate glam FM station. There's something cool about a show coming back from the grave the old-fashioned way.

Mongo, i would love for the hideout to come back i listen to old shows all the time. I don't even know what dubs and jefe are doing in Atlanta, i think they are still at 961 but not sure. Jefe did get married and recently had a kid, so realistically I don't think the hideout will come back anytime soon. i personally would think Jefe having a kid would add another perspective the hideout never had. i do hope they come back someday.

Jefe and Dubs are probably slaving for The Man in some furshlugginer hack radio show. I remember when Jefe went in with Giant Brian. That was the most lame HACK sports radio ear rape I've ever heard! Jefe tried to step it up a notch but, got shot down because he sold out to corporate safe radio. I gave up after that. Who knows what Dubs is up to now?

There's nothing like marriage and a kid to ruin a good radio host. He can never reconnect with the Hideout's target demographic as long as he is that way.

Only the Hideout gave fat virgins, graveyard shift workers, pizza delivery men, homos, bums, and Chunks-types a place to hang out and have a good guffaw over what some intern may have said or done.

The chemistry of Jefe and Dubs just can't be replicated by formula. But, once that core is achieved or restored, the rest of the show could be structured along the original lines. There's enough unemployed Heretics who could step in and bring in the same chemistry as Matt Albert, Sidcada, Spoon, Chunks, Tommy Bateman, etc.

wow... i was just searching the hideout and found this thread... i miss the hideout... always made me laugh... i started listening to this show delivering pizza out of my lil $500 toyota pickup truck while living our of a $20 a night motel room... now living in Pittsburgh and cann't find any type of radio on par with that kind of humor lol
