Yes. It's an upside down reflection of the fire coming off the camera's lens as it moves. If you look, you can see the three lights on the poll being reflected backwards.

I'm actually not religious in the least, but I thought it pretty cool. Not sure I buy the smudge on the lens theory, looks like a horse and a guy on top of it. Can even make out the horses' legs moving just before it floats up.

I'm sure it is something simple but imo it looks pretty spooky.

Yes, but if you look closer, the image tends to waver/wave when imposed over solid matter. The same effect as the Michael Jackson ghost, it should continue as one straight phenom. when going across an angle/corner. Illusion most likely.

It's not just a smudge, Doc.. It's a smudge playing with, refracting if you will, the surrounding light. I thought it to be a reflection from a window, at first, but I noticed the horse moved with the camera, not against it. It is almost certainly some kind of artifact on the lense.

Right, pale does not necessarily mean the pale that we are most familiar with there exist such shades as pale green, pale blue, pale grey. In fact pale green is a color associated with death as the Cadaver/corpse had a pale green patina to it.
