Anybody know what Pentagon's gazebo is used for.

Anybody know what the gazebo is now used for. When I worked there it was an ice cream stand.

It sold something like Italian ice back when I was 8. Used to go there fairly regularly (and the PX somewhere in the Pentagon, too - love maple sugar candy!). The "security" of the Pentagon was somewhat less then - just needed a military ID to get in - I lived at Fort Myer, went there with my brother, maybe with friends...50 years ago...

I'd bet it still sells Italian ice.

They took down the

ice cream stand and replaced it


with a butt hutt.

A pagoda could easily be confused with a gazebo

The last time I visited the Gazebo was in the 80s while I was in the service. President Reagan was presenting the C.M.o. H. to a SSgt who served in
Vietnam, I think his name was Rodriques. Anywhere, it did not have as many ornamental trees and shrubs as the picture depicts. It was pretty sparce, now it appears to be a real botanical park.
