The funniest stuff you saw during last night's commute

Post the funniest stuff you saw going on outside in last night's hell on earth.

Mine: A Honda, going 5 mph along Franklin Farm Road was evidentially too slow for the Xterra behind him. The Xterra decides to whip around him, fishtails, swerves and ends up buried in the right shoulder - BEHIND the Honda. He spun his wheels for the 10 minutes I could see him. I don't know if he got out or not. Dumbass.

This thread would be about Fairfax County and therefore is off-topic for Off-Topic.

I thought I was in the general forum. Oops.

Well...it'll probably get derailed in 3 posts anyway.

Southern hillbillies maybe ten years removed from the horse and buggy. Attempting to use the science of vehicle dynamics to strategically manipulate a (to what seems to them) new-fangled contraption through a minor obstacle.

What gets me is how people immediately gun it when they start to get stuck. I guess you have to grow up around shitty weather to understand that torque is not your friend in snow and ice.

Anyone who grew up around here should know that then. I've had to teach some of my friends how to properly drive in snow and ice, though. However, most of my peers have known how to drive in the white stuff, and we even have fun purposely breaking loose in the snow and pulling drifts lol.

Regarding Warhawk's post, that is one of the worst things, people who think that an SUV makes them invincible. A good driver in a car can usually do better in snow than a bad driver in an SUV.
