Great showing from Holtby the last two games. I'm well aware that the Isles and Leafs suck more than a 3-dollar-whore, but it's nice to see Hotlby get a couple good games under his belt.

Hate to say this, but Holtby looking solid is bittersweet. I fear that good showings in net will ultimately lead to a trade deadline deal that sends Holtby to another team. The Caps system is overloaded with quality goalies.

Tonight will be a better gauge of his skill. The Rangers have been playing good hockey recently and they beat Toronto 7-0 last week.

Holtby played a great game against the rangers. However WTF happened in the shoot out!? He flinched at the first deke everytime and got schooled.

On a side note, Ovie's shoot out attempent was WEAK, I dont think he was even trying.
