New American Idol

Not that I was ever a big fan of the show to begin with, but the new line-up is horrifically bad. It's like three Paulas up there. This show is officially done after this season.

I agree. I never really like the show either, but appreciated the chemistry between Simon, Paula and Randy. Hopefully the producers will step in and make recommendations for tweaking the personalities a bit. Otherwise, you are correct, no one will watch for long.

I think it was done after about season 4 or 5, when carrie underwood won. All the winners since then have never achieved the level of fame that the first few did - they are simply the latest season's winners. If they continue to do it, they should only do a season every few years. Take the time to really get a good pool of contestants together and then record it all.

If Tyler was all coked up and drunk like back in the day it might stand a chance.

It sucks.

I heard Don talk about Gary Busey being on Celebrity Apprentice. I'll probably watch that.

That's who would have been good on Idol instead of Tyler

Yet one more TV show that I have never watched. I catch it in passing if the wife is watching it and I'm nearby, but I've never deliberately tuned in or sat down to see what was up. Unfortunately, you can't escape it.
