I am sorry, I do not know what Obamacare means. It is a termed coined by Frank Luntz at the paid request of the RNC and large insurance companires to scare not so intelligent people. It was never defined by Mr Luntz, so I do not know what message you are trying to convey. The argument against the access to guns is rather weak. It's not like arguing for cycle helmets. Personally I don't think guns are the issue. In fairness, the shooter brought politics into it by shooting a member of Congress and killing a Federal judge.

It may very well be that this guy had no affiliation with the Tea Party. But when the Tea Party publishes ads with cross-hairs on the pictures of political candidates and claim they will use their "Second Amendment Rights" if an election doesn't go their way, they shouldn't be surprised when they come under scrutiny after something like this. It would be nice if someone like Sarah Palin would come out and ask the Tea Party to cool the gun rhetoric instead of promoting it.

I have always qualified that wiki is sometimes not a good reference. Generally those are the entries with few references, and citations.

And regarding global warming, I have cited numerous scientific reasons why AGW is more religion than reality. What I find more laughable is that global warming morphed into 'climate change' once it was clear there had been no warming in the last 10 years, and then if that wasn't enough, they justified all sorts of things from more violent hurricanes, to no more snow as signs of global warming/climate change - then, when those examples proved to be failures, they turned around and claimed that more snow and colder temperatures are because of global warming also. They are still stumped on the hurricane issue though. I merely note that it is an awful lot of snow, or cold - in particular since we were told in the past how much warmer our winters were going to be, and how little snow we would see.

I think it is becoming clear to even the stupidest believer of the climate change caucus, that the Sun is the issue here, not the small trace amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. But the true believers continue to plod ahead because the real agenda here has always been redistribution of wealth, not science.

First off, I have never said that the health care changes would lead to Nazism in this country. As a matter of fact, that was your issue (in attempting to attack someone else and incorrectly pointing out how they were wrong), and I was merely pointing out that your argument was incorrect, and you were wrong. And you still are wrong.

My argument has always been that the government has gotten ridiculously large, and the last thing we need are more government run programs. They are always inefficient. The government works better at defining the rules to ensure folks are not short-changed by the private market - that assumes though that they actually ENFORCE the laws and regulations that already exist. For instance the financial crisis could have been averted in a number of different ways, the least of which would have been by regulators stepping in and doing what they should have done earlier, or Congress working to tighten up laws that allowed loopholes being exploited in getting around regulations designed to protect consumers.

There were much better ways to fix health care then what has been foisted on us so far - but leave it to the idealogues like yourself who fail to admit that in almost every country that went to a single payer system, they are all out of money, or having to revamp the entire system. I have already posted on numerous previous occasions (before and after health care was rammed though) ways that could have revamped health care that would have ensured things like going bankrupt due to health issues would be greatly mitigated.
