It's called a Christmas tree
Posted by: village idiot ()
Date: December 10, 2010 10:00AM

I am not offended, nor do I care when I hear the phrase "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". People can celebrate whatever they want to at this time of year and I couldn't care less. I draw the line however, when we are told that we are no longer allowed to call them Christmas trees, but holiday trees.

Our office Christmas party this year is now being called a "Holiday Party" lest anybody be offended and the office is decorated with a "Holiday Tree". Give me a break, we will have days off of work for CHRISTMAS and it is a CHRISTMAS TREE. Political correctness at its lowest form in my opinion.

Yeah, a party I was going to attend is called a "Holiday Party" as well (As if anyone's forgotten that it has to do with Christmas). I'm alright with that, but calling a Christmas Tree a "Holiday Tree"? Gtfo with that BS. Even my Muslim friends call it a Christmas Tree, and some of them even have one in their homes.

Question it 'TheMeeper', IT doesn't make YOU any less of a loser.
You're just mad that you see someone with a LEGITIMATE grievance and
because you are a queer that doesn't agree with us, you decided to
take the low road and resort to a personal attack questioning masculinity
like some broken wrist devil dick sucking sissy-boy.

A couple of years ago we put a Christmas tree in our waiting area. One of my colleagues bitched about it, saying non-Christians would be offended. I said, "Fuck off. We're keeping the tree." And we did. (Oh, and nobody but this douchebag complained).

Maybe we should start calling the Menorah "Holiday Candles," too.

Christmas is really just for kids, so why adults seem to care so much about what to call stuff relating to it is beyond me. If you're not a kid or not a parent, why would you even give the slightest shit about Christmas? Who cares if they call it a Christmas Tree or Holiday Tree? Unless you're a kid and there are presents surrounding it, they shouldn't even exist.

People spend a month(s) preparing, decorating and buying shit, then when it finally comes, it's never the spectacular event people fantasize about. Around here, it never even snows on Christmas and it really seems like any other day, except the stores are closed.

Yeah, I know it's the one day when we might see other family members, but that's because it's expected more than desired.

In general, I dislike most holidays that celebrate, someone's death or birth. I also dislike ones like Columbus Day and Labor Day. I like ones that celebrate important stuff like Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and New Years Day. I even like Valentine's Day because it's all about my funny little honey.

All I'm saying is that it is ridiculous to call it a holiday tree. We don't have holiday turkey on Thanksgiving or watch holiday fireworks on the Fourth of July.

NO IT'S NOT ASSWIPE, IT FOR CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF THE SON OF GOD

BECAUSE THEY DO.
WHY ARE NON CHRISTIANS SO ADAMANT ABOUT DISCRIMINATING
AGAINST CHRISTIANS TO THE POINT OF CALLING IT A "HOLIDAY TREE"
IF YOU HAD GOOD IMTENTIONS ON WISHING THEM A GOOD CELEBRATION
-WHY PISS THEM OFF BY NOT CALLING THEIR CELEBRATION OR TREE IT's PROPER NAME?

> "If you're not a kid or not a parent, why would you even give

I ALREADY EXPLAINED THIS ONE YOU IDIOT.

> "Who cares if they call it a Christmas Tree or Holiday Tree?"

CHRISTIANS DO ASSWIPE

> Unless you're a kid and there are presents surrounding it,

BUT THEY DO EXIST, AND YOU EXIST AS A BUFFOON.

> "People spend a month(s) preparing, decorating and buying shit,

REALLY? AN IGNORANT ATHIEST WHO IS SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF CHRISTIAN FAMILIES ALL AROUND THE WORLD. WHO'DA THUNKIT?

> "Around here, it never even snows on Christmas"

SO? TALK ABOUT AN IRRELEVANT TALKING POINT

> "and it really seems like any other day,"

IT IS ANY OTHER DAY, JUST ONE WITH AN IMPORTANT CELEBRATION.

> "except the stores are closed."

CLOSED LIKE YOUR MIND ?

> "Yeah, I know it's the one day when we might see other

YOU SHOULD TRY PONDERING WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS REALM.

> "In general, I dislike most holidays that celebrate,

THAT'S NICE

> "I also dislike ones like Columbus Day and Labor Day."

THAT'S JUST STUPID

> "I like ones that celebrate important stuff like Memorial Day,

JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS NOT IMPORTANT TO *YOU*
DOES *NOT* MAKE IT UN-IMPORTANT

> "I even like Valentine's Day because it's all about my funny little honey.

ONE FUNNY HONEY FOR A FUNNY FAGGOT, A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN !

IT IS JUST A TRADITIONAL *DECORATIVE* ITEM USED TO
SYMBOLIZE EVER LASTING LIFE -LIKE THE EVER GREEN TREE
WHOS LEAVES SEEM NOT DIE IN THE WINTER.

-HOW ABOUT THE MENORA PART OF THE JEW STORY ?
WAS THAT THE PART WHERE PANTIUS PILATE STUCK A CANDLEABRA UP HIS ASS?

NO IT WAS THE PART WHERE SATAN HIMSELF CAME INTO YOUR ASS.

when Jesus was born the 3 wise men came bearing gifts. The first wise man said
" That's a good looking kid you got, I'm sure he will go far in life"
The second wise man said " that is one good looking baby he will have people following him wherever he goes".
The third wise man, being quite tall banged his head on the manger grabbed his head and said " JESUS CHRIST." Mary looked up and said " I guess that's a better name than Leroy.
