I can't sleep with my head pointing towards a door or a window. I have to be ready. For whatever may come through the window/door.

The funniest superstition is in South Korea where a lot of people believe that an electric fan will suffocate people because it chops up the air.

I always flip a lucky cigarette over in the pack.

If I have an eyelash on my finger, I blow it off and make a wish.

I don't like the number 6. I always get bad vibes when there is a six count of something.

The hat-on-bed bad omen is from the film "Drugstore Cowboy".

It's bad luck to walk under a ladder.
If a broom touches your feet while someone is sweeping, you will never get married.
Cats suck the breath out of babies.
Break a mirror, seven years bad luck.
If your palm is itching, you're getting money.
If your ear is itching, someone is talking about you.
Pulling out a grey hair will cause ten to grow in its place.
It's bad luck to do laundry between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Step on a crack, break your mothers back.

Chinese don't like the number 4 since it sounds like the word "death". Since 10 sounds like 4 (more or less) the number 44 is decidedly a no-no.

8, on the other hand, is highly favored - I don't know why - probably google would have an answer.

I've always liked particular numbers.

I'm not sure if you consider it a superstition, but I hate sleeping right next to windows. I always think that something/someone can break through it and get me. It's even worse if it's a ground floor window (Above ground level, I'm cool with sleeping near a window, just not right against it).

Some Korean amusement parks have a room that you enter, where the lights go dark and a loud fan speeds up, then all the Koreans run out in terror. They pay money for this.

Shut the fuck up. No way. No way does that happen.

Really? Like, seriously?

So leaving a fan run in your house at night is the best way to protect yourself from Korean burglars?

"Fan Death" is a real superstition in South Korea to the point all fans sold in Korea have a timer on them so a person won't leave it running overnight and "suffocate" themselves.
