yeah, I was trying to watch Ran on Sundance Channel the other day and this shit was in the corner of the screen for the whole damn movie! Movie channels should not be putting shit in the corner of the screen, and they shouldn't be showing movies in pan & scan......I don't understand why most TV shows are now presented in widescreen, but most movies on HBO and other channels besides TCM are almost always shown pan & scan. I refuse to watch a movie that's been panned & scanned. But having graphics on the screen in the middle of a movie is the final insult.
