I just an ipad as a gift. When I did my first download from itunes and Apple none of my apps transfered. How do I transfer my apps?

Again, I'm not jealous. If i really *wanted* an iPad, i'd own one. But, I don't. What part of that don't you understand? I have to use Windows 7 devices for work. However, as soon as I'm out of work, it's all Linux after that.

The last Apple product I bought was a 3rd Generation iPod. I love it, but damn, Apple has become too much of a monopoly in the accessories department as of late. Every time I turned the page in the Brookstone catalog today, all I saw was iPod, iPhone, iPad this and that. It's getting really carried away.
