I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be funny. It's just hard to tell because it's Norwegian (I think).

If these videos were MEANT to be funny then they weren't. But if they weren't meant to be funny then they are hilarious.

It is a very interesting connundrum. I don't think it was meant to be funny. It was meant to be lighthearted.
