I used to love seeing this sign after a 10 or 12 hour road trip back in the 70's.
I wonder why they did away with it.

The best sign(s) I ever saw was in Tidewater Virginia. It was a company logo posted on the business and every truck. Excell Erection...."Our Erection is Hard to Beat"

The worst sign ever had to be the one coming back from Ocean City on Route 50 that said Congratulations you are in Prince Georges County.

Now they should have one as you exit PG something like Congratulations you made it out alive.

I can't believe I'm going to type this but ...

Back in the 70's on Route 17 going south toward Hampton, there was this sign on the the side of the road that read ...

Mr. & Mrs. P***y and all their little p***ies, Welcome you to (and then it had the name of the town).

We were shocked, but then still would always crack up every time we saw it. I'm trying to find if anyone ever had taken a pic of it. There must be someone out there that did.
