anyone here ever smoked opium? How come any time I see people smoking opium, it's always an old Chinese dude laying on his side with a pipe in his mouth? Does laying on your side help make the opium work better? Or are they just lazy?

I'd eat the opium if it was me. Muse, you live in San Francisco---have you ever smoked opium? What was it like? Did you lay on your side? Can you still get opium anymore? Alias, did you smoke opium when you were on that banana boat in Thailand?

There used to be opium kicking around in the mid-80's, it was really weak shit though. Same true with the so-called opiated hash and opiated hash oil that used to be available. I can't speak for all products out there, but I don't think there is or was a lot of real stuff available.

If you think you've tried this shit and you can handle it, you may be in for a big surprise if you smoke some potent tar heroin.

i tried it in houston, though; a long time ago.

word on the streets of sanfran proper is that tar and meth are all the rage these days. it's a rough game out here. no pity for the weak. i work with homeless kids 20-30 years old. 9 outta 10 have trackmarks and/or missing teeth.

Opium made it's way through Chantilly. Very relaxing and peaceful high. Made entire body warm and cozy. Also a feeling of numbness... So I've heard.
