For all you Geocentrists and hopefully Catholics as well, this conference sounds like fun. Anybody from FFU thinking of going?

Ok....

Galileo Was Wrong is a detailed and comprehensive treatment of the scientific evidence supporting Geocentrism, the academic belief that the Earth is immobile in the center of the universe. Garnering scientific information from physics, astrophysics, astronomy and other sciences, Galileo Was Wrong shows that the debate between Galileo and the Catholic Church was much more than a difference of opinion about the interpretation of Scripture.

Scientific evidence available to us within the last 100 years that was not available during Galileo's confrontation shows that the Church's position on the immobility of the Earth is not only scientifically supportable, but it is the most stable model of the universe and the one which best answers all the evidence we see in the cosmos.

HAHAHAHA

See, now that is so stupid it's funny.

If you can’t model the past, where you know the answer pretty well, how can you model the future? - William Happer Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics Princeton University

Are you
anti-Catholic or anti-Geocentrist, or both?

I mean now that the Catholic church has bought back exorcisms, we should have seen Geocentrism coming.

Can you imagine how incredibly complicated planetary orbits would have to be if the Earth were truly the center of the solar system? It makes no sense whatsoever.

The last time I thought of myself in a religous sense, I thought of myself as being Catholic "light". Also known as an Episcopalian.

However, my true beliefs are not beliefs at all and are agnostic in nature.

Unfortunately, I will not be attending the mentioned event.

Why are you anti-funny? You make a bunch of illogical conclusions. Plus, you talk a big game for a guy using an anonymous handle and having a hidden email address.

You can PM any time you want.

U.S. Bishops: "The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles."

If there is an anti-Catholic thread to make, Radiopile will be there posting it. He is against people who are Catholics and likes to make that point all the time. No matter, he remains bitter while the Catholics move on with their charitable works and objections to people getting killed and stuff. No biggie. His First Amendment is the same as theirs.

Um, this is my group.

The Secular Coalition for America is committed to promoting reason and science as the most reliable methods for understanding the universe and improving the human condition. Informed by experience and inspired by compassion, we encourage the pursuit of knowledge, meaning, and responsible ethical codes without reference to supernatural forces. We affirm the secular form of government as a necessary condition for the interdependent rights of religious freedom and religious dissent. We come together as national freethought organizations to cooperate in areas of mutual interest and to support each other in our efforts to uphold separation between government and religion for the benefit of all within the nontheistic community. As resources allow, we will actively cooperate in projects that support our position, with priority given to political action initiatives and public relations opportunities.

More about Sungenis "credentials" here http://sungenisandthejews.blogspot.com/2010/09/summary-of-robert-sungenis-and-jews.html#Doctorate

Sungenis has no official capacity in the Catholic Church and was forced by his bishop to take the name "Catholic" off of his organization. Thank you.

Here is more about the how the leader of the Catholic Church feels about it.

And was it this Bishop?

Your comment has nothing to do with Geocentrism, which it appears many Catholics and believing and the Pope seems to not mind it.

Gravity is "just a theory". Just like these:

The germ theory of illness: that some illnesses are caused by microscopic organisms.

The heliocentric solar system: that the planets in our solar system orbit around the sun. (under question here).

The round Earth theory: that the Earth is round, and not flat, or some other shape.

The atomic theory of matter: that all matter is made up of atoms.

Sounds more like a support group for losers than an actual organization.

I do find it amusing though that those who shun organized religion feel the need to seek refuge in an organization of like minded people.

"We affirm the secular form of
