granted, but the money brought in by nascar is very real.
nascar, like wrestling, is a well-oiled, money making machine.
both machines will continue to thrive as long as the dimwitted slackjaws are amongst us, and those folks are as pervasive as cancer.

I don't know if NASCAR is fake. I do have to question some aspects of it. The biggest one being that it's biggest star is basically the Julian Lennon of motor sports. I wonder if Kyle Petty ever looks at Jr. and wonders why his dad couldn't have eaten a wall when he was starting out.
