Popular Fairfax Underground character Jinxx (or Jinx) Wintersteen was born May 7 1988. She is best known as a former friend of Megan Price (Toohey).
Jinx mysteriously disappeared several years ago and het last Facebook post was on February 18, 2019. It has been suggested she died, which is unlikely given that there has been no obituary or funeral announcement, and no grave site can be located. Megan has claimed that her former husband Josh Price killed Jinx, but there have been no arrests thus far. Josh is also more known for wearing a giant dildo on his head than for murder and violence.
Over the years there have been occasional unconfirmed sightings of Jinxx. However it is still possible that Josh, Megan, or someone else has killed her and hidden the body, like Fairfax Underground's other famous missing character Shane Donahue.

Jinx is one of those cosplay chicks whose life revolves around dressing up as imaginary characters and going to conferences.
A girl I'm friends with is also into that stupid shit and I've gone with her to some of the local events in dc and md. There are some cool costumes but it's mostly a bunch of unemployed losers with no life. Jinx is a regular and easy to spot because she's not obese and doesn't smell bad. She definitely looks alive and well. Somewhat hot like a young Ally Sheedy.
The conventions usually have some kind of comic book element to them but I've never seen Miz, William Moreno, although there are other creepy pedo looking dudes lurking and leering at kids.
