People seem to forget what a horrible candidate McCain was, particularly after picking Palin. The election was lost right there, it was just the margin of victory that was in question. If they Republicans can't find a decent candidate, they won't win, and some tea-party-nutjob, which considering who votes in their primaries isn't too hard to imagine winning the nomination, just won't likely have broad enough support to beat Obama, no matter how "bad" you think he is doing.

If the rally on the mall this weekend was 90% black, do you think anyone would kick out those racist bones you like to throw?

I'll say the 91% to 35% split is partially probably do to a lack of informed voters, some racial favortism and other factors.

My point as I wrote previously, is that people can easily make inferences that because there are so many white people to the point of statistical irrelevance that one could say they (tea party) are racist due to the exclusion (voluntary) of blacks/other races.

Culture. If you talk to black people they will tell you that they were raised in households where even thinking of not voting Democrat was out of the question (just like union white people).
The concepts pushed by groups like the Tea Party or the libertarians, stuff like less government and individual rights, not to mention "states' rights" (once known as "federalism"), have been tainted as somehow "racist" by tying them to the Confederacy.
This strategy of convincing black voters that voting in favor of individual liberty is against their own best interests has been rock solid for the left. At the time the civil rights movement was finally toppling anti-individual Jim Crowe laws, the anti Vietnam war movement, which was moslty leftist with a tiny sliver of libertarians, was also preaching "revolution", and so the two movements made an unholy alliance that continues to this day.
So until the Afro-American community is de-programmed to reflexively vote Democrat no matter what, movements like the Tea Party will continue to attract mostly white people.
And as long as Obama is black AND democrat, there is almost nothing that will ever convince black voters to stop supporting him.

Remember the OJ trial? I was probably one of the few white people that figured he would get off based on the evidence - and I remember vividly all the reactions to the verdict. Someone had a tv in the office that day, and in our mostly white office (at that time) the reaction was of shock, disbelief and anger for the most part. Going home that day I overheard a lot of conversations about it, and almost universally the reaction of blacks was positive - they were happy he got off, and for whites, mostly negative.
It isn't being racist by calling a spade a spade. Reality IS. Although as has been pointed out, the fact he is black has lost it's luster (so to speak) for many folks that voted for him in 2008 - mainly due to the reality of how he has acted over the last 2 years. The election this year will be a referendum on that for sure - he will have 2 more years to change the tune, and maybe against a Republican controlled Congress he will have enough contrast to make himself look good again. We'll see.

Someone had a tv in the office that day, and in our mostly white office (at that time) the reaction was of shock, disbelief and anger for the most part. Going home that day I overheard a lot of conversations about it, and almost universally the reaction of blacks was positive - they were happy he got off, and for whites, mostly negative.
It isn't being racist by calling a spade a spade. Reality IS. Although as has been pointed out, the fact he is black has lost it's luster (so to speak) for many folks that voted for him in 2008 - mainly due to the reality of how he has acted over the last 2 years. The election this year will be a referendum on that for sure - he will have 2 more years to change the tune, and maybe against a Republican controlled Congress he will have enough contrast to make himself look good again. We'll see.

It wasn't the evidence. The evidence was very good. It was the conduct and procedure undertaken by the prosecution. "Put the gloves on, OJ." That ended any doubt right there.
Rule #1 of direct/cross examination: Never ask a question that you as the attorney don't already know the answer to...

Or take the surgical gloves off that were only half way put on.
Makes sense right? The leather glove is only going to go as far
down as the finger webbing on the surgical gloves.
Plus if outside of the latex gloves were not powdered, then
they could have inhibited the leather glove from sliding normally also.
But yes, ITRADE had it right about asking questions you don't

Obama wants the dems to lose this November. THe reason for this is
1) White Americans are racist
2) Republicans can fix the economy so Obama can take credit for it (like Clinton)

4) If economy stays bad he can blame it on racist republicans
